Worship Tools
Setup
- Download and install, but do not run, the software from https://www.worshiptools.com/en-us/presenter
- After you receive your email invitation start the program and enter the code from the email
- After logging in, click the Settings gear icon in the upper right and choose Settings
- Defaults tab
- Default Slide Aspect Ratio – 4×3
- Default Bible Translation – ESV (scroll to the bottom of the list to find Imported Bibles)
- Put a Check in these boxes
- Scripture Reference
- Title Slide
- Add title…
- Include artist…
- Include CCLI #…
- Background Video/Image Scale – Scale to fit screen
- Be sure to click Save at the bottom when done
- Footer tab
- CCLI License is 2970730
- Footer
- Footer location – Bottom, left corner
- Show footer on – First slide only
- leave the rest
- Be sure to click Save at the bottom when done
- Bibles tab
- In the Cloud XML Bibles section, Download & Install the ESV and optionally the NASB
- Screen Configuration tab
- Resolution – 800×600
Operation
Adding verses
- On the left click “Add Cue”
- Select Scripture
- Select the passage you are using by filling out the following
- Book: The book of the bible you are reading from
- From: The first field is the chapter the second is the verse
- To: The first field is the chapter the second is the verse
- Set Template to Default
- Slide break can be set in any configuration
- Reference should remain Top
- Translation should be Show
Adding Songs
- On the left click “Add Cue”
- Select Lyrics
- Search for the song you are adding
- if it is a song we use it will show up
- if the song is not appearing
- click Songs on the top of the screen
- search for the desired song
- it will appear in the section SongSelect
- click that song
- click import
- this song will be then be available to be added to the cue list
Modifying Songs
- Sometimes we will need to modify a song, primarily to change the breaks for readability
- Open the song you wish to modify
- this can be done from the Songs tab
- search for the song
- click on the song
- this can be done from a cue list
- click edit cue in the Top Right
- click Edit “{Song Name}”
- If you are wanting to split a slide into multiple slide
- Click “New Slide” top right of the screen
- Right click the new slide which will currently be name “Slide {some number}”
- Click Rename and rename it to the original name and a postfix letter
- e.g. Spliting Verse 1 the second slide would be named “Verse 1b”
- If you need to set the order for the song (This should not be done for one off slide orders)
- Check “Set custom slide order”
- Add the slides in the desired order
Special Arrangements
If a worship leader uses an arrangement other than one we currently use, right-click the song, duplicate it, and add their name to the Artist field in parenthesis like (Name)
